Wow! I'd never thought I'd see neogeo emulated eventhough it has been nine years since it was released in the U.S. It was the most advanced system of that time. Only my rich friends could afford it. But the system didn't do very well in the U.S. because of it's high pricetag. Thats why not many games were made for it. By now, it only has about 120 games more or less. But it had Samurai Shodown. I loved that game. Cost me a lot of quarters in the arcades. But now with emulation, I have unlimited quarters..

NeoGeo Emulators

There are several ( about 5 or 6 ) NeoGeo emulators out there. Some even have support for the CD's. But the two I prefer is NeoRAGEx ( Real Arcade Game Emulator ) and KBMAME ( Multi Arcade Machine Emulator ). And remember, the roms are pretty big. For both these emulators to work, you'll need quite a lot of ram. The requirements are about the size of the roms. So, don't go downloading roms that is more than your system can handle unless you upgrade. It would be nice to have a fast computer too.

KBMAME

Has sound, good emulation speed. Supports preset combos. But does not run a few of the new games.(Metal Slug X, Shock Troopers 2) But never remembers key config.(get anoying)

KBMAME Homepage

NeoRAGEx

Very fast and smooth emulator. Has sound. Supports all the games. Looks cool with edge enhancements. Does not require as much ram as the other emulators.

But, before you do anythig else, download the Bios. They are required. Just download them and put them in the emulator's directory.

NeoGeo ROMs

Disclaimer
Warning! The roms on this page are not mine. They are just links. So dont blame me for whatever happens to you. Another thing. You must delete whatever you download within 24 hours unless you own them, they are for evaluation only. If you do not agree with this, you must imedietly exit this page.

These are going to take you a very long download, so enjoy. But if you want to be safe download GoZilla or Get Right first before you go for the roms. They will let you continue downloads after you've got cut or something.

Also if you wan't sound, you have to download soundfixes. If it doesn't have sound already, that means that the sound files came from a bad dump, so you have to download new ones.
And if you wan't to save some hardrive space, you can leave them as zips or zip them up and you can run them as zips. ( Example: c:\neobeta samsho4.zip )
